When is the show?

The show takes place on Saturday December 13th, with performances at 1pm and 6pm.

When are rehearsals?

For CanSkate rehearsals take place during your child’s regular skating sessions, plus one full dress rehearsal scheduled for ****afterschool December 12th.

How can I get tickets?

Tickets can be purchased via our Zeffy link here.  Skaters who are performing do not need a ticket.

Do I need to provide a costume?

No, our costume committee is working hard to put together all the costumes for the show. You may be asked to provide basic items such a black pants or a solid coloured shirt.

IF YOUR SKATER DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE SKATE GUARDS, PLEASE PURCHASE OR BORROW SOME. SKATE GUARDS ARE IMPORTANT FOR SAFETY WHILE IN THE DRESSING ROOMS AND FOR KEEPING BLADES IN GOOD CONDITION. Guards can be purchased from sporting good stores, Canadian Tire or our local skate shop North Edge Ice Sports.

Does my skater need to attend both shows?

We understand that show day is a long day especially for younger skaters. We ask that families do their best to make sure their skater can attend both the matinee and evening performances.

Will my child be with me during the show?

Once skaters are checked in, they stay backstage with our volunteers and coaches during the show. Parents cannot stay backstage unless they are volunteering. If you feel your child needs you nearby, we strongly encourage you to sign up as a dressing room volunteer for their group.
